Barbara Bennett joined Western Healthcare Alliance’s Community Care Alliance (CCA) in 2019 as the CCA Executive Assistant. In this role, Barbara ensures the smooth operation of the CCA; provides administrative support to the Executive Director, colleagues, and the ACO/CIN governing boards; and collaborates with practices and providers.
Barbara has over 36 years of experience delivering executive-level leadership support. She served as an Administrative Assistant for a national mortgage company, followed by many years as an Office Manager for a design firm that specialized in strategic development of Fortune 50 companies, such as: Tyson, Gerber, and Boeing. In most recent years, Barbara served as Executive Assistant and Director of Administrative Services for a rural Colorado healthcare provider. Working for a non-profit, Critical Access Hospital gave Barbara the qualifications and experience that were essential to fulfill her new role with the CCA. She is honored to be supporting the mission of Western Healthcare Alliance to keep healthcare local and sustainable.
Barbara is a Colorado native and an active volunteer for various non-profit agencies within her community. Barbara earned an Administrative Assistant Degree from Barnes Business College.
